Messy Church Activities

Hi Everyone

I hope this email finds you well. As you know times are once again changing with some of the restrictions in place being lifted and schools, shops and businesses slowly beginning to open their doors once again. Unfortunately it will be some time before our Church building can open its doors once again to you all but this is a time to remember that "Church" is not just a building, its also the people and community connected to that building.

   So although Churches remain closed Church as a whole is more open than ever before. God is always with us and Jesus walks along beside everyday in all we do. Over the last few months more and more people have been coming to church each week through video services, online meeting room services and just by opening the bible and reading a few words. It is so amazingly breath-taking that in this time of uncertainty and worry more and more people are inviting God into their lives and know that he is right here with us always.

As Sunday services are finding knew ways of moving forward during this time of closed buildings, we thought now would be a good time to look at how our Messy Church can also move forward and we would like your thoughts and ideas to help us. There is a short questionnaire below. Please fill this in and send it back to us.

One way we would like to move forward is to hold a Zoom Messy Church in which we would share a short time of worship, songs and any news anyone may have. We would like to do this on our Messy Church day which would be the 8th July, potentially at 4.30PM. If this time is inconvenient please let us know what time would be better and we will go with the Majority. If Messy Church Zoom is something you would like to join in with please let us know so that we can arrange it.

We hope you enjoy this months Messy @ Home Pack. Please send any photos of your activities (no faces please) so we can put them on our Facebook page and Church website

Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.

With our very best wishes from the Messy Church team.
